옅은 황금빛이 잔 안에 가볍게 비친다. 1990년 빈티지의 페터케언이 아메리칸 오크 호그스헤드에서 31년을 보낸 후 42도로 병입된 이 스킨 보틀링은 동부 하이랜드 증류소의 부드러운 결을 또렷이 안고 있다. 향에서는 잘 익은 사과와 마른 풀, 옅은 꿀이 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 입에 닿으면 부드러운 곡물 단맛과 가벼운 향신료, 옅은 가죽이 입천장에 펼쳐진다. 42도의 도수가 자극 없이 균형을 잡는다. 도수와 숙성의 균형이 자극 없이 골격을 잡는다. 여운은 잔잔히 이어진다.

it’s got that funny spiciness this time, we’re having some kind of blend of cooked honey, dry cocoa powder, dried parsley and unsweetened espresso. Becomes really dry after a few seconds. Strong black tea, chalk, marmalade

a little short, a tad cardboardy and very malty (Ovaltine again). Old walnuts in the aftertaste, a touch of Cynar (artichoke liqueur)
