셰리 버트에서 20년을 보낸 시간이 Lagavulin 1999의 두꺼운 피트 위에 어두운 단맛의 결을 또렷이 새긴다. 셰리 버트의 깊은 영향이 모닥불 연기와 어우러져 그을린 자두, 다크초콜릿, 짠 해초의 향이 두드러지고, 입에는 흑설탕과 굵은 바다소금, 식어가는 피트 스모크가 묵직하게 입을 채운다. 55.4도의 강도가 20년 숙성의 부드러움과 거친 피트를 단단히 받친다. 짙은 호박빛이 잔에 잠기고 여운은 셰리와 연기가 입천장에 길게 머문다.
