향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
노즈에서는 달모어 특유의 오렌지와 초콜릿, 마른 향신료가 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 1960년대에 병입된 오래된 보틀링답게 묵은 과일과 가죽, 옅은 토피 향이 명확하게 드러난다. 43도의 팰럿은 부드럽게 입을 채우며 오렌지 마멀레이드와 흑설탕, 정향이 균형을 이룬다. 빈티지 달모어 특유의 클래식한 시트러스와 초콜릿의 조화가 또렷하다. 피니시에서는 오렌지와 코코아, 옅은 향신료의 잔향이 길게 이어지며 우아하게 마무리된다. 1960년대에 병입된 빈티지 달모어의 클래식한 매력을 담았다.

amazing freshness. What’s so striking is that this could almost be a modern Dalmore bottling with this profile of bready, gingery, rich and opulent sherry. In fact, you could be forgiven for thinking it could be a fake if you’d been poured it randomly. Although, having opened the bottle myself, I can say for sure it’s the real deal. Seriously rich, bready, nutty, lightly spicy, gingery, slightly meaty and rather fatty. It’s a very strange mix of modern and slightly old school. Hard to know what to make of it in some ways. But on a technical basis it is very good

was there rye in the mash? Seriously this is spicy and full of pumpernickel bread, spiced blood orange, waxed canvas, baking parchment, toasted cereals, brown bread and orange cordial. Again, blind you could say this was a current Dalmore 18 perhaps. Even though there are quite a few more extreme wee parts which allude to an older style. Bamboozling whisky
