북부 하일랜드 알네스, 크로마티 만을 마주한 달모어는 진한 셰리와 오렌지 풍미로 이름난 하일랜드 몰트다. 셰리 캐스크에서 17년을 보낸 1990년 빈티지는 잔에 짙은 적동빛으로 잠겨 있다. 코에는 오렌지 마멀레이드와 건포도, 다크 초콜릿과 구운 견과의 향이 솟아오르고, 46도의 부드러운 도수 속에서 흑설탕과 말린 과일, 가죽이 진하게 입을 감싼다. 여운에는 감귤과 향신료의 쌉쌀한 단맛이 길고 풍요롭게 이어진다.

I don’t know. Liquorice, cardboard, cloves, burnt rosemary, bitter chocolate, and a wee bit of brined anchovy. More burnt matches as well, more bitter chocolate… What’s nicer is that there aren’t any big notes red wine. Love red wine, but not in my whisky
