향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
잔 속에 옅은 황금빛이 또렷이 깃든다. SMWS 125.11, 글렌모렌지 1995의 11년 보틀링은 청량한 하이랜드의 결을 단단한 도수 안에 또렷이 옮겨 둔 모습으로, 코끝에 닿는 첫 인상은 잘 익은 배와 들꿀, 옅은 바닐라가 함께 풀려 나온다. 한 모금 머금으면 시리얼의 단맛과 가벼운 시나몬, 마른 살구의 결이 미끄러지듯 흐르고, 57도의 도수가 청량한 윤곽을 단단히 받친다. 끝맛은 마른 풀과 옅은 시트러스로 잔잔히 흐른다.

powerful and youthful, starting on caramel, cooked butter and vanilla. It’s soon to get very grassy, vase water, hay. Whiffs of peat and rubber – the latter growing stronger and stronger. It gets very farmy at the same time, and then develops on lavender perfume, before it goes back to cooked butter and stays there. Nice, and much more complex than expected!
restaurant 맛 (팔레트)
a very sweet, yet powerful attack, but it’s soon to get spirity, malty and grassy again, with lots of liquorice and cold infused tealeaves. Violet sweets, toffee, liquorice stick, cold strong coffee. Perhaps it lacks some complexity now, but I guess that isn’t the main purpose of a 10 yo malt bottled at 100 (UK) proof. The finish is long and bold, getting a little too bitter. I still like this now discontinued malt, hence my very good rating: 85 points . Glenmorangie ‘Traditional’ (57.2%, OB, circa 2004)
