스페이사이드 멀벤 마을의 부드러운 강가 풍토가 글렌타우처스 1996 빈티지 20년 숙성에 가벼운 곡물 향을 새겼다. 잔에는 옅은 황금빛이 비친다. 향에는 배럴에서 비롯한 바닐라와 잘 익은 사과, 헤더 꿀이 또렷이 드러나고 입에서는 51.4도의 도수가 시트러스와 시리얼, 가벼운 오크 향신료를 단단하게 풀어낸다. 여운에는 곡물의 단맛이 잔잔히 잠겨 있다.
