깊고 짙은 황금빛이 잔 속에 우아하게 잠긴다. 40년을 숙성한 이 보틀링은 탈리스커 원액 특유의 바다 내음을 오랜 시간으로 둥글게 다듬었다. 코에는 잘 익은 과일과 옅은 후추, 희미한 바닷바람이 어우러진다. 입에서는 꿀과 왁스, 은은한 스모크가 부드럽게 흐르며 매콤함이 가볍게 비친다. 43도의 도수가 40년의 무게를 더없이 우아하게 풀어낸다. 짭조름한 여운이 길게 남는다.
