스카이 섬의 거센 파도와 후추 같은 해풍이 캐릭터를 관통하는 탈리스커는 섬 위스키의 표상으로 꼽힌다. 2011년 빈티지를 셰리 버트에서 11년 보낸 이 보틀링은 짙은 호박빛을 띤다. 향에서는 바다 내음과 옅은 훈연, 말린 과일이 어우러져 올라오고 입에서는 50도가 특유의 후추 같은 매콤함 위로 셰리 단맛을 더한다. 여운에는 짭짤한 미네랄과 그을린 향신료가 화하게 남는다.
