향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
노즈에서는 탈리스커 특유의 석탄과 시가 재 향이 가장 먼저 두드러지며, 그을음과 마른 이탄 연기가 8년 숙성 원액에 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 단맛은 거의 없이 건조하고 미네랄한 인상이 명확하게 드러난다. 팰럿은 50도의 무게로 쌉쌀한 석탄과 쓴 오렌지, 해안다운 소금기를 전하며 탈리스커 특유의 검은 후추가 강하게 밀려온다. 리필 호그스헤드답게 캐스크는 절제되고 원액의 개성이 살아 있다. 피니시는 시가 재와 바닷물, 쌉싸름한 약초 뉘앙스가 남는 2008년 앰버빛 보틀링이다.

pretty much zero doubt, unless someone slightly unhinged has entirely re-dressed a very old Talisker from G&M or BB&R, which would make little sense. In short, it is very much on an old heap of coal at the back of a slightly damp cellar, with cigar ashes, saltpetre, soot, old liqueurs made from buds, chiefly fir, and bitter cocoa from the sherry.
