오크 우드에서 15년을 보낸 숙성이 탈리스커의 후추 같은 매운맛을 단단하게 다듬었다. 우드의 영향으로 바닐라와 함께 굵은 후추와 그을린 연기, 바다 소금기가 올라온다. 입에서는 훈제향과 검은 후추, 짭조름한 미네랄이 진하게 번지고 55.8도가 풍미를 단단히 받친다. 1988년 빈티지의 탈리스커다운 매운 해풍이 중심을 관통한다. 짙은 황금빛 끝에는 후추와 옅은 연기의 여운이 길게 이어진다.
