옅은 황금빛이 잔 속에 또렷이 비친다. 탈리스커가 1979년 증류되어 16년을 머문 결과는 63.2도라는 거대한 알코올로 먼저 자신을 드러낸다. 향에서는 후추와 바닷바람, 옅은 훈연이 거칠게 풀려나고 입에서는 캐든헤드의 캐스크 스트렝스가 입천장을 천천히 덮으며 흰후추와 짠 미네랄이 폭발한다. 여운에는 스카이 섬의 거친 결이 길게 머무르며 강한 알코올이 깊은 잔향을 남긴다.
