테이스팅 노트
노즈에서는 그을음과 흙, 비터 초콜릿이 먼저 두드러지고 홍차와 마지팬, 구운 판체타의 향이 뒤를 잇는다. 마데이라 버트에서 온 소금 캐러멜과 왁스가 창고 특유의 눅눅한 공기와 겹친다. 53.8도의 팰럿은 부싯돌과 짠 미네랄, 블러드 오렌지에 타르 밧줄의 인상이 더해지며 점차 육향으로 발전한다. 피니시는 중간 길이로 분필 같은 건조함과 호두 기름, 허브 이탄이 남는다. 짙은 호박색의 15년 숙성 샘플이다.

when Springbank and sherry combine, sometimes it can be a tad monstrous, but here it treads a fine tightrope. Some slightly grubby notes of pencil erasers but also mushrooms, struck flints, saline minerals, blood orange and lightly tarry rope. Increasingly meaty as well with big notes of anthracite and cough syrups. With water: nice, more dark fruits and more leathery qualities.
