옅은 황금빛이 잔 안에 또렷하게 어린다. 스카이 섬의 탈리스커답게 짭조름한 바다 내음과 후추, 옅은 토탄 연기가 먼저 솟구친다. 버번 호그스헤드가 더한 바닐라와 잘 익은 배의 단맛이 그 뒤를 받친다. 60.1도의 높은 도수가 한 모금마다 강렬한 후추와 소금기, 훈연을 또렷하게 펼친다. 1979년 빈티지의 21년 숙성이 거친 힘을 다듬었다. 여운에는 바다 내음과 후추의 매콤함이 길고 강하게 이어진다.
