오크 캐스크 한 통이 13년 동안 1979년산 탈리스커의 강한 피트 스피릿을 빼곡히 빚어냈다. 64.1도의 알코올이 가진 무게가 그대로 향에서 드러나는데 검은 후추와 짠 모닥불 연기, 짭조름한 갯바위가 먼저 떠오른다. 입은 입천장을 천천히 덮는 훈제 시트러스, 흰 후추, 마른 헤더로 풀바디로 흐른다. 옅은 황금빛이 잔을 채우고 여운은 강한 피트와 후추로 길게 이어진다.
