깊은 황금빛이 잔 안에서 따뜻한 광택을 머금는다. 스카이 섬의 탈리스커를 셰리를 담았던 보데가 호그스헤드에서 26년 길러낸 이 위스키는 후추 같은 매운맛과 바다의 기운을 지닌다. 향에는 옅은 훈연과 바다 소금기 뒤로 건포도의 단맛이 비치고, 58.4도의 한 모금은 백후추의 매운 기운과 짭조름함, 말린 과일의 단맛으로 입안을 감싼다. 탈리스커 특유의 후추와 바다의 결이 또렷하며, 여운에는 매운 향신료와 소금기가 길게 이어진다.

Not a gram of sweetness, everything is dry as a truncheon blow. We rather like this. Let us see whether the palate is a little tired, which, all things considered, would almost be good news.
