테이스팅 노트
다시 살려낸 레드와인 캐스크가 이 탈리스커 9년에 붉은 과일의 옷을 입혔다. 표면을 깎아 되살린 와인 캐스크라 향에서는 잘 익은 체리와 자두, 후추가 또렷이 일어선다. 스카이 섬 원액답게 그 뒤로 바다 소금기와 옅은 연기가 따라온다. 입에서는 붉은 베리와 검은 후추, 짭짤한 그을음이 59.8도의 기운을 업고 두껍게 번진다. 불그스름한 호박빛 너머로 매운 향신료와 짠기의 여운이 길게 깔린다.

Not the case at all here, this is just massively plasticky, soapy in a good way (that is possible, mind you), and it would start to gather all oils and saps known to Man. huge, minty, sharp yet rich and thick, almost excessive. Big mint, artisan toothpaste (excuse me?), brine, smoked oysters, Seville oranges, menthol cigarettes, menthol snuff… It’s quite a wrestler, Hulk Hogan in a bottle. With water: as often with these great bottlings by G&M, you have to be careful with water and not add to much. Maybe is that related to the way they are/were filtering their whiskies? So with only a few drops, you’re getting a rounder, smooth and almost rather softly honeyed Talisker. Buy a good pipette, that’s a better investment than fake collectables
