테이스팅 노트
노즈에서는 잘 익은 사과와 바닐라 꼬투리, 루바브 파이가 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 스피어민트와 마른 민트 잎, 캐모마일의 신선함에 은근한 석탄 스모크가 더해진다. 팰럿은 45.7도임에도 크리미하고 두꺼운 바디로 민트 리큐어와 소금기, 살구가 또렷하게 흐른다. 1964년 증류해 15년을 보낸 카덴헤드의 올드 밀턴더프답게 원숙한 구조감이 단단하다. 피니시는 아주 길게 이어지며 감초와 짭짤한 여운이 오래 남는다.

oh this is nice! Much nicer, in any case. Loads of overripe apples, vanilla pods and rhubarb pie, with a little oak in the background and quite some spearmint, green tea (uninfused), shoe polish… A different dimension. amazingly creamy, almost thick body. Really powerful. Starts on mint liqueur and quite some salt, as well as cooked apricots (without too much sugar) and apple pie. Almost like well-made pastries.
