향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
하이랜드 글렌고인 2007년 빈티지가 올로로소 호그스헤드에서 12년의 시간을 견디고 하보스트 17번 보틀링으로 자리한다. 짙은 호박빛이 잔에 차분히 잠긴다. 향에서는 잘 익은 건자두와 옅은 흑설탕, 마른 무화과의 결이 차례로 일어선다. 잔에 머문 잔향이 천천히 옅은 시가와 가죽의 결로 발전한다. 56.9도의 도수는 입안에서 셰리의 단맛과 향신료, 가벼운 가죽을 펼쳐내고 한 모금이 오래 머물면 졸인 자두의 결이 또렷해진다. 마지막까지 차분히 길게 이어지는 여운 속에는 비피티드 하이랜드의 정갈한 셰리 결이 잔향에 깊이 응축된다.

ah, nice attack, although quite oaky and sugarish, but some sour notes develop after thirty seconds. Stale wine, cider, apple juice. Gets a little bitter… Medium finish on stale beer. Well, I recall having had some much better 17 yo Glengoyne. Certainly just a batch that’s below the par, or is it me? 78 points . (PS: it may well have been me, as almost all my fellow Malt Maniacs rated this Glengoyne much higher) Glengoyne 12 yo Cask Strength (57.2%, OB, 2004) A new bottling I already had on… Islay
