증류소 175주년을 기념해 2003년에 병입한 이 열두 해짜리 술은 옅은 밀짚빛을 띤다. 향은 화사한 향수의 인상과 풍선껌의 단맛으로 열리고 데운 우유와 캐러멜, 바닐라 크림이 그 뒤를 부드럽게 채운다. 거친 결이 한 걸음 물러선 자리다. 입에서는 46도의 무게가 캐러멜과 달콤한 와인, 흰 과육의 과일과 키위의 산미를 고르게 받친다. 오렌지의 상큼함이 중간을 정리한다. 여운은 짧고 부드러우며 바닐라의 단맛이 마지막에 남는다.

ah, this batch is very different. Always these perfumy smells and bubblegum, but now there’s also lots of hot milk with caramel and vanilla cream. Not too bad!

again it’s better than the 1999. More defined, with more body. Caramel, sweet wine, vanilla cream, white fruits and kiwi, orange juice… Not un-enjoyable at all, I guess the next batches will be even better. 60 points .
