테이스팅 노트
2000년에 병입된 베이지 라벨은 잔을 코끝에 대는 것만으로는 좀처럼 열리지 않는다. 몇 번 흔들고 기다리면 왁스 광택제와 밀랍, 들꽃의 꿀 향이 조심스럽게 피어오른다. 한 모금 머금으면 향에서 짐작한 것보다 훨씬 힘이 있어 새 고무와 탄 빵, 졸인 과일 소스가 46도를 밀고 나온다. 삼킨 뒤에는 달군 쇠 같은 금속감과 구운 곡물의 고소함이 남아 화려하지는 않아도 마시기 좋은 균형을 보여준다.

rather discreet at first nosing but getting nicely fragrant, with quite some wax polish, varnish (good varnish ;-)), beeswax… Very delicate, in fact, not too expressive but quite refined and elegant. Notes of nectar, flowers from the fields, getting a little smoky and rubbery (new rubber band). Very nice, although there’s also some smells of hot metal (hot still?)
restaurant 맛 (팔레트)
more powerful this time, quite rubbery again, with some burnt bread, overcooked fruit sauce. Nice, quite balanced and showing lots of oomph but not too complex. The finish is very nice, though, on all sorts of roasted things. In short, a very good one, very enjoyable. 87 points . Springbank NAS (46%, OB, House and Tree label, Germany, mid 1990’s)
