테이스팅 노트
잔을 세워 빛에 비추면 옅은 금빛이 얇게 흔들린다. 코를 대면 다음 날 아침의 벽난로처럼 재와 타르, 그을음이 먼저 밀려오고 겨자와 풋호두, 바닷물이 그 뒤로 이어진다. 노란 카레와 바닐라, 캐러웨이가 오크 쪽에서 슬쩍 올라온다. 한 모금 머금으면 소금기와 왁스가 혀를 감싸고 레몬과 쓴 오렌지, 감초, 잉크가 거칠게 뒤섞인다. 삼킨 뒤에는 호두 속껍질과 풋후추의 마른 쌉쌀함이 오래 남는다.

Lemon and bitter orange, tar, liquorice, mustard, ink and plasticine, and a whole bag of fresh walnuts on your tongue. Quite some cinchona too, tonic water, bitters… It’s not impossible that these newer batches would display a little more active oak than before, not too sure

rather long, dry, still sooty, salty and ashy, rather with walnut skins and green peppercorn in the aftertaste
