향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
노즈에서는 재의 기운과 풍선껌 같은 단내가 함께 두드러진다. 풀 냄새와 감귤 껍질이 뒤따르고 기침 시럽을 떠올리게 하는 약재 뉘앙스가 사이를 채우며, 훈연은 중간 강도로 유지된다. 46도의 팰럿은 탄 허브와 감초 나무, 쓴 약초가 이어지고 생강 토닉 같은 맵싸한 맛으로 발전한다. 피니시는 중간 길이로 키니네의 쓴맛이 남는다. 1993년 프라이빗 보틀링답게 개성이 거침없다.

it’s amazing how peaty whiskies are quicker to smell ‘mature’, the peat’s big aromas masking any faint ‘flaws’ that are obviously there in such young malts. So, this is pretty nice, ashy, quite bubblegummy (of course), grassy and slightly citrusy. Whiffs of cough syrup. Medium smokiness
restaurant 맛 (팔레트)
once again and for the same reasons, this works better than the unpeated version, even if there’s something slightly strange (something like burnt herbs – oregano?). Liquorice wood, bitter herbs (Jägermeister), ginger tonic, even gin… That’s it, this is rather good gin!
timer 피니시
medium long, with added notes of cinchona
