테이스팅 노트
1973년 증류액다운 구식의 향이 노즈에서 확인된다. 처음에는 조심스럽지만 곧 왁스 광택제와 니스, 밀랍이 순서대로 열리고 들꽃과 꿀물의 섬세한 톤이 겹친다. 후반에는 옅은 연기와 새 고무, 달군 금속 같은 뉘앙스까지 드러난다. 46도의 팰럿은 향보다 힘이 세며 탄 빵과 졸인 과일 소스가 이어진다. 셰리 우드에서 숙성한 스크루캡 시절 롱로우로 우아함보다 밀도가 앞선다.

rather discreet at first nosing but getting nicely fragrant, with quite some wax polish, varnish (good varnish ;-)), beeswax… Very delicate, in fact, not too expressive but quite refined and elegant. Notes of nectar, flowers from the fields, getting a little smoky and rubbery (new rubber band). Very nice, although there’s also some smells of hot metal (hot still?)
restaurant 맛 (팔레트)
more powerful this time, quite rubbery again, with some burnt bread, overcooked fruit sauce. Nice, quite balanced and showing lots of oomph but not too complex. The finish is very nice, though, on all sorts of roasted things. In short, a very good one, very enjoyable. 87 points . Springbank NAS (46%, OB, House and Tree label, Germany, mid 1990’s)
