테이스팅 노트
금빛이 잔 안에 고요히 고여 있다. 2000년에 병입된 이 롱로우 십 년은 처음엔 말수가 적지만 곧 밀랍과 바니시, 들꽃의 꿀 같은 향을 부드럽게 열어 보인다. 그 사이로 옅은 연기와 새 고무, 달궈진 쇠의 인상이 스친다. 46도의 입은 향보다 힘이 있어 태운 빵과 졸인 과일 소스의 맛이 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 여운은 구운 곡물의 고소함을 남기며 균형 있게 이어진다.

rather discreet at first nosing but getting nicely fragrant, with quite some wax polish, varnish (good varnish ;-)), beeswax… Very delicate, in fact, not too expressive but quite refined and elegant. Notes of nectar, flowers from the fields, getting a little smoky and rubbery (new rubber band). Very nice, although there’s also some smells of hot metal (hot still?)
restaurant 맛 (팔레트)
more powerful this time, quite rubbery again, with some burnt bread, overcooked fruit sauce. Nice, quite balanced and showing lots of oomph but not too complex. The finish is very nice, though, on all sorts of roasted things. In short, a very good one, very enjoyable. 87 points . Springbank NAS (46%, OB, House and Tree label, Germany, mid 1990’s)
