잔을 흔들면 화이트 와인처럼 옅은 빛이 얇게 돈다. 코를 가져가면 젖은 신문지와 파라핀, 연필심 냄새가 앞서고 그 뒤로 갓 벤 풀과 식은 재가 따라 올라온다. 한 모금 물면 기름지고 거친 결이 입안을 채우며 작은 사과와 부추, 레몬 마멀레이드의 쌉쌀한 단맛이 뒤엉킨다. 증류소에서 직접 채운 이 보틀링은 삼킨 뒤에도 밀랍과 풋고추, 소금기를 오래 남긴다.
