스페이사이드 벤 린스 자락의 글렌알라키 2013은 페드로 히메네스 호그스헤드에서 9년을 보낸 위스키다. 잔에는 짙은 갈색빛이 감돈다. 페드로 히메네스가 남긴 건포도와 대추야자, 흑설탕의 진한 단 향이 피어오른다. 47.5도의 구성 속에서, 입에서는 무화과와 당밀, 구운 견과의 풍미가 묵직하게 입천장을 덮는다. 여운은 다크 초콜릿과 말린 과일의 단맛으로 길게 남는다.

I feel this one works a little better, there is clearer sherry influence from the off, even if it remains on the lighter side, but then perhaps that's the point of this wee series? A little richer, earthier, more biscuity and some cedar wood and pine cones

again, the sherry character is a little clearer, some tangy balsamic notes, some salted almonds, cured ham alongside the more typical cereals, dried flowers and dried apple

medium, again nicely leathery and a little salty and drying which really feels typically Amontillado
