잔을 천천히 돌리면 옅은 황금빛 액체가 벽을 타고 느리게 흘러내린다. 코를 가져가면 프레시 버번 배럴에서 온 바닐라와 보리 사탕 향이 먼저 다가오고, 59.8도의 기운이 물러난 자리로 젖은 돌과 밀랍 냄새가 밀려 올라온다. 한 모금 머금으면 기름진 질감이 입천장을 덮고 배와 시트러스 껍질의 단맛 위로 후추가 따끔하게 올라온다. 삼킨 뒤에는 삼중 증류 하젤번 특유의 매끈한 곡물 단맛이 남고 소금기가 혀 가장자리에 얇게 걸린다.
