옅은 금색이 잔 안쪽 벽에 얇게 걸린다. 신선한 버번 배럴에서 열 해를 보낸 2007년 헤이즐번은 향에서 크림 캐러멜과 청사과, 갓 구운 빵을 차례로 내민다. 58.1도의 힘이 입안을 곧게 통과하며 꿀과 바닐라, 보리 단맛을 밀어 올리고 그 끝에 흰 후추의 매운기가 잠깐 스친다. 캠벨타운의 스프링뱅크가 세 번 증류해 만든 원액답게 거친 데가 없으며, 여운은 짧고 산뜻하되 마른 나무의 온기를 남긴다.
