잔을 가볍게 흔들면 1967년 셰리 버트가 남긴 짙은 마호가니 빛이 잔벽을 두텁게 덮는다. 코끝에 가져가면 토마틴 40년이 빚어낸 건자두와 무화과잼의 향이 가장 먼저 올라온다. 한 모금을 머금으면 51.8도의 알코올이 입천장을 따뜻하게 덮으며 농축된 가죽과 다크초콜릿의 단맛이 묵직하게 흐른다. 천천히 삼키면 오래된 셰리의 발사믹 잔향이 입에 길게 남는다.
