Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 리필 다크 셰리 캐스크에서 33년을 보낸 토마틴의 말린 과실과 가죽, 묵은 오크 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 장기 숙성된 하이랜드 몰트답게 무화과와 호두의 깊이가 명확하게 드러난다. 팰럿은 50.8도의 원숙한 질감으로 다크 토피와 건포도, 스파이스가 발전하며 균형이 단단하다. 피니시는 가죽과 그을린 오크가 길게 이어지며 던컨 테일러 레어 올드 1976 빈티지의 구조감이 깊게 머문다.

an unexpectedly smoky start, very malty, with rather heavy notes of burnt cake. Quite honeyed as well, with notes of dried fruits (figs), vanilla and quite some caramel. Goes on with something distantly farmy, peaty, and notes of regular ‘black’ tea. Not overly complex but rather enjoyable, I must say
restaurant Palate
a sweet, malty and caramelly attack, with a smoky structure and lots of cake and toasted bread. Very, very classical, getting rather spicy (a little ginger, quite some nutmeg and a pinch of clove). Keeps going with notes of fruit liqueurs, bananas flambéed and praline, and a finish that’s long and rather powerful, smoky, malty and caramelly. A good middle of the road malt. 80 points .
