인버네스 남쪽 고지대에 자리한 토마틴은 서늘한 산악 기후 속에서 가볍고 산뜻한 몰트를 빚는다. 2008년 증류 후 몽바지야크 스위트 와인 배리크로 마무리한 12년 프렌치 컬렉션으로, 잔에는 옅은 밀짚빛이 담긴다. 향은 상큼한 시트러스와 리몬첼로, 백포도의 달콤한 산미가 화사하게 열린다. 46도의 도수로 입안에서는 레몬과 라임, 루바브의 새콤함에 레몬 커드의 단맛이 얹힌다. 여운은 길게 이어지며 시트러스의 톡 쏘는 산미가 청량하게 남는다.

tarter. Wonderful lemons and limes, perhaps a little rhubarb too, with a little hotness. Lemon tarte with meringue, lemon curd, and yeah, limoncello.
