Tasting Notes
올로로소 셰리 벗 피니시가 토마틴 18년의 오크 숙성 스피릿에 은은한 셰리를 더했다. 우드의 영향이 향에 골든 시럽과 진저브레드, 미라벨 자두, 잘 익은 배를 겹친다. 46도의 도수는 입안에서 맥아 보리와 레몬 커드, 옅은 캠퍼와 타임의 결을 편다. 오랜 숙성이 만든 드라이한 미네랄이 셰리의 단맛과 균형을 이룬다. 셰리 마무리가 오크의 드라이함에 은은한 단맛을 얹는다. 오랜 숙성이 미네랄과 셰리를 곱게 이어 붙인다. 황금빛 여운은 그린티와 꿀, 옅은 왁스의 결이 길게 남는다.

rather a lot of golden syrup, gingerbread and some nicely ripe garden fruits. Mirabelle, gooseberry, pears, green apples etc... some bready notes as well, savoury pastry and a dollop of sweet lemon curd. Very pleasing and rather sumptuous. The kind of malt you could snooze to, in a good way
restaurant Palate
a little more towards juicy plain malted barley, lemon cordial, a lick of camphor, dried thyme and some eucalyptus. Again it’s pretty good I think. Gets drier and more mineral, a little clay and putty. Some tree bark and a little over-extracted green tea
timer Finish
medium and getting drier and more teaish. Reminiscent of some old OB bottlings from the 80s. Some shoe polish and cheap runny honey
