Tasting Notes
잔을 기울여 돌리면 잘 익은 금빛이 잔 벽을 부드럽게 감돈다. 코끝에 가져가면 골든 시럽과 진저브레드, 잘 익은 정원 과일이 풍성하게 오르고 레몬 커드가 산뜻하게 얹힌다. 올로로소 셰리 버트로 마무리한 46도의 이 토마틴 18년을 한 모금 머금으면 몰트의 단맛 위로 레몬과 유칼립투스, 마른 타임이 흐른다. 삼키면 점점 마르며 홍차와 옅은 꿀의 뉘앙스가 중간 길이로 이어진다.

rather a lot of golden syrup, gingerbread and some nicely ripe garden fruits. Mirabelle, gooseberry, pears, green apples etc... some bready notes as well, savoury pastry and a dollop of sweet lemon curd. Very pleasing and rather sumptuous. The kind of malt you could snooze to, in a good way
restaurant Palate
a little more towards juicy plain malted barley, lemon cordial, a lick of camphor, dried thyme and some eucalyptus. Again it’s pretty good I think. Gets drier and more mineral, a little clay and putty. Some tree bark and a little over-extracted green tea
timer Finish
medium and getting drier and more teaish. Reminiscent of some old OB bottlings from the 80s. Some shoe polish and cheap runny honey
