인버네스 남쪽 고지대에 자리한 토마틴은 부드럽고 온순한 하이랜드 몰트로 알려져 있다. 15년 트래블 리테일 익스클루시브는 리필 아메리칸 오크에서 키워 46도로 병입한 보틀링이다. 옅은 황금빛 잔에서 메이플 시럽과 스펀지 케이크, 바닐라 향이 아주 부드럽게 오른다. 입안에서는 팬케이크에 얹은 시럽과 버터스카치, 은은한 아카시아 꿀이 매끄럽게 흐른다. 여운은 오렌지 사탕 같은 산뜻한 과일 향으로 가볍게 이어진다.

very gentle, polished, syrupy in a good way, less fat and big than the Caribbean (which wasn’t very fat and big mind you), with some pancakes covered with maple syrup, butterscotch, and the most delicate acacia honey. All that is very soft indeed, and tends to become more and more custardy. One of the easiest malt whiskies out there
