잔을 코끝에 가져가면 리필 셰리 호그스헤드에서 온 마른 셰리 향과 가죽이 먼저 인사하고 그 아래 약국 같은 고무 냄새가 스친다. 49.9도를 한 모금 머금으면 가죽과 고무의 인상이 먼저 왔다가 비터 오렌지와 후추가 뒤를 잇는다. 물을 몇 방울 떨어뜨려 다시 향을 맡으면 버섯과 성냥 연기가 열리고 입에서는 오렌지와 분필, 밀랍이 또렷해진다. 삼키면 연기 밴 미네랄 마멀레이드가 길게 따라온다.

I was about to copy-and-paste my notes for the Cad when I started to notice more sherry, leather, and perhaps ‘medicinal rubber’ in this one. So it’s perhaps a little less bright, and a little more, well, dry-sherried. All very nice anyway. With water: mushrooms and struck matches. Which works

same feeling of leathery, slightly rubbery things in the arrival, before more bitter oranges and pepper appear. A little thicker, for sure. With water: it just adores water. Oranges, chalk, pepper, truffles, waxes… The rubber’s gone now
