Tasting Notes
호박빛이 잔 안에서 따뜻하게 빛난다. 젊은 아일라 증류소 킬호만은 올로로소 셰리가 더한 마른 과일 향 위로 신선한 피트 연기와 짭조름한 바닷내음을 함께 풀어낸다. 한 모금은 셰리의 단맛과 그을린 훈연, 후추가 어우러져 입안을 단단하게 채운다. 12년의 숙성과 45.9도의 도수가 어린 아일라 몰트의 생기와 셰리의 깊이를 또렷하게 잡는다. 여운은 마른 과일과 연기, 소금기로 길게 이어지며 신생 아일라의 패기를 남긴다.

its softer, leafier, more polished, and in a way, more ‘Caol Ila’. Fresh walnuts and apple peelings. Perhaps a little more engine oil as well?

excellent as well, but perhaps a little more mono-dimensional than the 2015. A little more towards sappy and soapy tones, putty, plasticine… But very excellent it remains

long, lemony, salty, always with a little putty. Or putty-like flavours
