연한 화이트와인빛이 잔에 옅게 감도는 이 헤이즐번 1997은 스프링뱅크가 빚은 캠벨타운의 조용한 얼굴이다. 처음엔 수줍게 마른 곡물과 건초, 해변 자갈의 미네랄과 백후추가 서서히 피어난다. 한 모금 머금으면 왁스 같은 감촉이 살짝의 피트와 짭조름한 바다 내음, 시트러스를 감싸며 미끄러지듯 번진다. 셰리 호그스헤드에서 17년을 보낸 54.8도의 힘은 기름지고 짭짤한 후추의 여운으로 잔잔히 잦아든다.

better! Classically waxy, lightly peaty, coastal, citrusy, mineral, pebbley, salty and some wonderful waxes and oils mingling together. Superb!
