옅은 황금빛이 잔에 담겨 캠벨타운 몰트의 기름진 질감을 예고한다. 스프링뱅크 증류소의 헤이즐번 8년은 타이거밤 같은 약재와 유칼립투스, 요오드와 붕대를 연상시키는 독특한 향이 강렬하게 뻗어 나온다. 56.2도의 높은 도수 위로 광물성 오일과 바닷물, 소금에 절인 감초, 진한 우마미가 힘있게 밀려온다. 허브 향의 쌉싸름함과 그을린 올리브유의 결이 캠벨타운다운 개성을 또렷이 드러낸다. 여운은 길고 짭짤하며 은은한 피트와 기름진 그을음이 깊게 머문다.
