Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 스프링뱅크 특유의 살짝 발효된 뉘앙스와 생양모, 젖은 백묵과 슬레이트 같은 미네랄 향이 먼저 두드러진다. 셰리 없이 원액 그 자체의 개성이 정직하게 드러난다. 팰럿은 46도에서 시트러스와 후추, 바닷물과 사과주스가 간결하게 발전한다. 복잡함보다 정밀함으로 승부하는 캠벨타운 몰트의 전형이다. 피니시는 길지 않지만 또렷하며 감초와 민트, 레몬과 재, 후추가 남는 15년이다.

the house style when there’s no sherry. Direct, slightly fermentary, with raw wool, modelling clay, damp chalk, and slate… You get the idea—it’s rather mineral, simple, almost youthful, yet to me, of an almost Caravaggesque beauty. Nothing is missing, and nothing is superfluous
restaurant Palate
citrus and pepper, plus seawater and apple juice. That’s it—it’s little, and it’s a lot. A new kind of old Springbank—abstract, simple, magnificent. Isn’t complexity overrated in whisky? (Of course not—pure b*ll*cks.)
