노즈에서는 스프링뱅크 특유의 해안가 왁스와 잘 익은 핵과, 흰 꽃이 먼저 두드러지고 미네랄 오일과 마른 허브, 해변 자갈, 박하차의 서늘한 결이 끝없이 발전한다. 100% 버번 캐스크에서 12년을 보낸 원액답게 나무의 개입은 최소한이고 증류 본연의 정교함이 그대로 드러난다. 팰럿은 55.9도에서 미네랄과 왁스, 부서지는 듯한 가벼운 피트 훈연과 흰 과일이 기름지고 묵직한 질감으로 입을 채운다. 피니시는 캠벨타운다운 짠맛과 왁스가 길게 이어지며 시트러스와 결정 같은 피트 연기가 또렷이 남아 구조감이 빼어나다.

stunning distillate driven profile! Full on coastal waxiness, fleshy ripe stone fruits, white flowers, mineral oils, dried herbs, beach pebbles, camphor, mint tea, olive oil… one of those noses where you could just go on and on. The most dominating impression is just that this is utterly, gloriously impeccable distillate that needs only barest touch of wood to show this level of sophistication and detail.
