버번 캐스크에 갓 담긴 2년의 원액이 킬호만의 어린 아일라 피트를 가감 없이 드러낸다. 갓 태어난 뉴 스피릿답게 과일과 바닐라 뒤로 후추와 연기, 타는 나무의 향이 날것으로 솟는다. 61.7도라는 극단적 도수 아래로 훈연한 재와 짭짤한 소금기, 배 사탕의 단맛이 뜨겁게 입을 친다. 이 위스키는 어리지만 곧게 뻗은 스모크와 바닐라의 여운을 길게 남긴다.

more on fruits and vanilla and certainly less ‘maritime’ than the 2007 at this point. Or so it seams… With water: definitely less complex and more spirity than the 2007. Also more pepper, more smoke, more burning wood

closer to the 2007 now… And even stronger (and that’s not just the extra 0.7%). Ashes. With water: rounder, sweeter and ‘younger’ than the 2007. More bourbon wood influence
