Tasting Notes
잔을 코끝으로 가져가면 킬호만 4년 100% 아일라가 어린 나이답게 유칼립투스와 의외의 귤 향을 먼저 풀어낸다. 향을 깊이 들이켜면 직접 재배한 보리에서 온 풋풋함과 옅은 연기가 뒤를 잇는다. 50도의 술을 한 모금 머금으면 훈제한 빵과 소금 친 땅콩, 버터와 굴 같은 짭조름함이 또렷하게 살아나며 메스칼의 매캐함이 스친다. 삼키고 나면 소금기와 아몬드, 짭짤한 마르가리타를 닮은 끝맛이 길게 따라온다.

it hasn’t got the brightness and the high impact of the Loch Gorms, and perhaps is it a little wishy-washy in comparison, despite the higher strength. A gentler one, and you have to nose much deeper to get the eucalyptussy side as well as the unexpected tangerines. The jury’s still out…

much, much better! This ain’t no nosing whisky, everything happens on the palate, with some kind of smoked and salted bread, some salted peanuts (as Dizzy would have said), and a mix of fresh butter and… Oysters! A touch of mezcal that I already had found in the Machir
timer Finish
medium long, salty and almondy. A touch of putty. Salty margarita in the aftertaste
