밝은 호박빛이 잔 안에서 선명하게 흔들린다. 2009년 원액을 여덟 해 만에 담은 이 아카이브스 보틀링은 젊은 버번의 활기를 그대로 지녔다. 옥수수 시럽과 바닐라, 갓 구운 브리오슈의 향이 곧게 올라온다. 63.5도의 도수는 첫 모금부터 혀를 뜨겁게 하지만 그 아래 꿀과 캐러멜의 단맛이 두껍다. 물을 더하면 계피와 팝콘의 결이 드러난다. 여운은 마른 오크와 백후추를 남기고 산뜻하게 이어진다.
