Tasting Notes
잔을 흔들면 포트 캐스크가 물들인 짙은 황금빛이 잔 벽을 타고 흐른다. 코끝에 가져가면 초콜릿 공장을 연상시키는 진한 카카오 위로 성냥을 그은 듯한 유황과 시리얼, 금속 광택제 같은 개성 강한 향이 올라온다. 46도의 크레이겔라키를 한 모금 머금으면 짭조름하고 후추 같은 미네랄과 유황이 혀 위에서 뚜렷하게 번진다. 삼키면 소금에 절인 호두와 시큼한 채소가 뒤따르며 100퍼센트 포트가 새긴 독특한 결이 오래 남는다.

Behind all this chocolate and these touches of sulphur, you'll find Golden Grahams and other cereals and cornflakes, a tiny bit of aniseed bread, a little metal polish, and a little younger rancio, rather from south of France.
