노즈에서는 크라이겔라키 특유의 초콜릿 향이 성냥 유황의 뉘앙스와 함께 또렷하게 드러난다. 호그스헤드 15년 숙성이 시리얼과 콘플레이크, 금속 광택 같은 미네랄한 결을 더하며 이 증류소다운 유황질 개성이 향에서부터 분명하다. 팰럿은 46도로 더 짭조름하고 후추 같은 미네랄이 순서대로 발전하며 유황과 금속 광택의 뉘앙스가 구조를 단단하게 잡는다. 크라이겔라키다운 육중하고 투박한 스타일이 입안을 채운다. 피니시는 길고 짭짤한 소금 견과와 채소의 여운이 이어진다.

it is a very chocolaty one, you would almost believe you're visiting a chocolate factory… where they also store struck matches. Behind all this chocolate and these touches of sulphur, you'll find Golden Grahams and other cereals and cornflakes, a tiny bit of aniseed bread, a little metal polish, and a little younger rancio, rather from south of France.
