잔을 몇 번 흔든 뒤 코를 가까이 대면 호두 껍질과 생초콜릿, 축축한 시가의 향이 크레이겔라키다운 발효 뉘앙스와 함께 올라온다. 물을 더하면 호두 케이크와 밀리어네어 쇼트브레드가 얼굴을 내민다. 한 모금 머금으면 59.2도의 힘이 데메라라 시럽과 당밀, 진한 메이플의 풍미를 혀 위에 두껍게 쌓는다. 2006년 증류된 이 스페이사이드 몰트는 삼킨 뒤에도 농축된 당밀의 단맛이 진하게 이어진다.
