Tasting Notes
잔을 가까이 하면 버번 캐스크에서 28년을 보낸 롱몬답게 잘 익은 열대 과일과 꿀, 옅은 바닐라 향이 명확하게 드러난다. 명품 스피사이드로 꼽히는 증류소답게 긴 숙성이 풍성한 과실미를 깊게 끌어올린다. 입에서는 53.8도의 도수 안에서 망고와 토피, 가벼운 향신료가 단단한 구조감으로 발전하고, 버번 캐스크의 바닐라가 롱몬 특유의 둥근 결을 받쳐준다. 피니시는 열대 과일과 은은한 오크가 길게 이어지며 우아하게 마무리된다.

ah this is very different again, this time there’s a mustiness, moss, mushrooms, some damp earth and sand, then cigars, grasses after the rain, then rhubarb and kiwis (yup, pretty green)… I quite love this! With water: relay lovely! More cigars, woods, incense, earth…
restaurant Palate
it’s a really punchy one, with more depth than the others, more complexity, with cider apples, earth, drops of kirsch, cherries, some ale and a touch of pineapple (perhaps). With water: full Longmornness. Oranges, ale, Turkish delights, bergamots, apples and all that. Mints

long, fruity, firm, with a bitterish grassiness in the aftertaste
