스페이사이드 엘긴 인근의 풍요로운 평야가 1968년 롱몬의 41년을 견인했다. 퍼스트 필 셰리 버트의 영향이 깊어 진한 마호가니가 잔에 잠겨 있다. 향은 마른 무화과와 다크 초콜릿, 가죽, 흑설탕이 명확하게 드러난다. 입에서는 짙은 단맛과 호두 살, 토스티드 오크가 묵직하게 입을 채운다. 61.7도의 캐스크 스트렝스는 41년의 무게를 그대로 안고도 균형이 단단하다. 여운에는 가죽과 우디 스파이스가 길게 발전한다.

it’s the viscosity of the fruit that strikes first. Emphatic and highly syrupy and concentrated. Lots of exotic, green and yellow fruits. Almost quivering in jellied form. Very typical old Longmorn; which is to say: brilliant! In time it becomes more jammy, mentholated and gives up notes of tea tree oil and light, playful waxiness. With water: gets almost salty and fatty now. Notes of verbena, mango, wormwood, camphor and tropical juice
restaurant Palate
the arrival is surprisingly subtle and all on spearmint, camphor, olive oil, flavoured pipe tobaccos, dried mint, eucalyptus resin and crystalised tropical fruits. Dried pineapple, papyay, exotic fruit teas and lime zest. Like juicy fruit chewing gum! With water: concentrated waxes, dried exotic fruits, passion flower, juniper and old herbal liqueurs
