스페이사이드 엘긴 인근의 롱몬은 풍부하고 기름진 과실 풍미로 애호가들의 신뢰를 받는 증류소다. 1996년 빈티지를 작은 옥타브 캐스크에서 15년 보낸 이 위스키는 짙은 호박빛을 띤다. 작은 통의 빠른 교감 덕에 향에서는 잘 익은 복숭아와 꿀, 구운 견과가 진하게 올라오고 입에서는 53.7도가 과실의 단맛과 오크 향신료를 또렷하게 채운다. 여운에는 토피와 매콤한 향신료가 길게 남는다.

splendidly fruity and utterly typical. Lemon, green apples, green pepper. Another beautifully natural malt with sharper angles. With water: it turns slightly softer, with apple juice, cinnamon and a hint of barley sugar
