Tasting Notes
잔을 가까이 하면 롱몬 1996의 잘 익은 과수원 과일과 꿀이 명확하게 드러난다. 리필 호그스헤드에서 28년을 보낸 만큼 오크는 절제되고 바닐라와 시트러스, 보리 단맛이 차곡차곡 발전한다. 팰럿은 54.2도의 도수에도 매끄럽게 흐르며 멜론과 가벼운 향신료가 균형을 잡는다. 피니시는 길고 깨끗하게 이어지며 맥아 단맛이 오래 남는다. 장기 숙성 스페이사이드의 완성도가 높은 보틀링이다.

ah this is very different again, this time there’s a mustiness, moss, mushrooms, some damp earth and sand, then cigars, grasses after the rain, then rhubarb and kiwis (yup, pretty green)… I quite love this! With water: relay lovely! More cigars, woods, incense, earth…
restaurant Palate
it’s a really punchy one, with more depth than the others, more complexity, with cider apples, earth, drops of kirsch, cherries, some ale and a touch of pineapple (perhaps). With water: full Longmornness. Oranges, ale, Turkish delights, bergamots, apples and all that. Mints
timer Finish
long, fruity, firm, with a bitterish grassiness in the aftertaste
